  • We love Indian food. It was something Jason introduced me to when we first started dating. Today I attempted making it myself. Cauliflower, chick pea, and cashew Indian tika. I was recently offered a fabulous fitness opportunity 💪🏻. Career wise it would have been a nice addition to the resume✅. But as I reflected on the list items I’ve been praying for lately, it simply didn’t align at this time. It would have brought it’s own rewards, but at the price of letting go of moments like this.   • No one talks about the physical devastation your body leaves you after a miscarriage. Extra weight and unrecognizable parts of your body that serve as daily painful reminders. You’re doing fine and then you catch a glimpse of something that triggers the memory. I’m talking about it and celebrating it today with the workout I’ve done (available in stories). I refer to myself as a highly functioning grieving person. I am damn proud of the progress I’ve made emotionally (still actively working on it) and the physical strength I’m continuously clawing my way back towards. If you’ve suffered a trauma allow grace for yourself and build peace internally above all things. We can’t share it if we don’t honor our own spirits first.
