Healthy Summer Cocktails: The Watermelon and Lime Petitini
This summer, kick back with some cocktails and relax. I love to celebrate and toast with friends, but I am always on the lookout for healthier cocktail options to keep me hosting or attending happy hour. I came up with this simple healthy cocktail recipe that has been a go-to for me and my girlfriends this summer season. All of these items you probably have on hand in your healthy summer kitchen stash.
Juice from 1 lime
1 ounce of lime flavored tequila
2 slices of frozen watermelon
2 ice cubes
***I keep watermelon sliced and frozen in my freezer in the summer, which makes a nice Margarita texture***
Combine all ingredients into your blender, Ninja, or Vitamix ~ pour and ENJOY!
