Bon Appetit: Freezer Meals

If you know me or read this blog on a regular basis, then you know I don’t really follow recipes. They are more like suggestions to me..or ideas of what ingredients would go well together. Most of my weekly meals are crafted by tossing a bit of this, a dash of that, and plenty of taste testing in between. I find it more creative and more organic in how it makes it’s way to my plate.

With plenty of snow days on tap this past weekend, I found myself tearing up my kitchen from pantry to freezer and everything in between. As my January calendar steadily becomes more full, I am beginning to dabble with freezing some of my favorite recipes as a time saver at meal time. Something about the snow turned me into a domestic queen in my own space for one. I cleaned everything in sight, including tubs, toilets, and cabinets. I saved several different freezable options onto my Fit Petite Eats Pinterest board and had time to try a few of them out, see below. I took the opportunity to freeze big batches and even some single servings… appropriate for fit petite eating! Grab some gallon size freezer bags and prepare to take meal prep to a new level. Enjoy cooking and crafting your way through your own kitchen. Bon appetit…petite!
