  • Feeding my spirit 🙏🏻🍩My list of prayers continues to grow. My tribe and their tribes are in need. And while I add prayers of peace for others during many difficult times, I hold some for myself and raise gratitude 🙌🏻 I broke open this book yesterday and it’s already having an impact. It seems like a small thing to read a book. It’s actually big. You’re choosing what you take in, just as you would with nutrition. We must nourish the body and soul equally with kindness. Less regimented rules. Instead try more mindfulness.   • We love Indian food. It was something Jason introduced me to when we first started dating. Today I attempted making it myself. Cauliflower, chick pea, and cashew Indian tika. Soooo cozy and delicious on a Sunday afternoon, post naps. This would be an awesome cold winter night dinner. Vegan recipe found on Pinterest! I’ll be making again.

  • The money shot. No quotes about rising though. It actually was a morning of pausing ⏸, being slow, soft in the sand and with my spirt. A rest day when it comes to workouts. But the 45 minutes I took to stand, sit, sip ☕️, stretch, and pray by the surf has everything to do with my wellness.

I was recently offered a fabulous fitness opportunity 💪🏻. Career wise it would have been a nice addition to the resume✅. But as I reflected on the list items I’ve been praying for lately, it simply didn’t align at this time. It would have brought it’s own rewards, but at the price of letting go of moments like this. This morning confirmed my choice🌅

  • The weights are getting heavier, the reps are getting lower. I’d venture to say you’re more capable than what you realize physically 💪🏻(think of everything you’re carrying around emotionally that you didn’t realize you could). Try tackling those bigger racked weights (be optimistic & realistic) #safetyfirst Start with a small rep count. Go big until the form gives out. I’m using 30’s here and can handle 5 reps per side.
